LikeFolk is a social network designed to bring simplicity, positivity, and authenticity back into digital interactions.

The platform enables users to share updates and allows others (friends or not) to respond. Updates and comments are screened by AI - no hate, no chaos.

Our goal is to help you react, connect, and feel seen - without losing peace of mind.

To maintain a safe community:

• You must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by local law.
• Provide accurate, current, and truthful information when creating your account.
• You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Do not share your password or allow others to use your account.
• Do not impersonate others or create multiple accounts to mislead or manipulate.

False information or platform misuse may lead to suspension or termination.

Whatever you post - photo, text, video, Flash Story, or Flash Note - belongs to you. We do not claim ownership over your creations.

By sharing through our platform, you grant LikeFolk a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sub-licensable license to:

• Host and display your content
• Store and back up your posts
• Resize, format, or optimize them for app performance
• Show them in relevant discovery or proximity feeds, consistent with the reach you chose
• Use anonymized or aggregated forms of content to improve product experience

Reactions and Metrics

Reactions - a single Like/Heart - are part of the social experience. Reactions, counts, and basic analytics may be publicly displayed or used internally for insights.

You can delete your content anytime - once deleted it's removed from public view, though cached backups may remain for a limited time.

Our platform is built on trust and kindness. You agree not to:

• Post anything harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, violent, or discriminatory.
• Bully, intimidate, or shame anyone.
• Upload content that is false, misleading, or illegal.
• Violate the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Promote commercial activities or advertisements without permission.
• Hack, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt our Services.
• Use automation, scripts, or bots to inflate engagement.

Moderation and Enforcement

We use AI-based screening and human review to detect harmful content. If actions violate these Terms, we may remove content or restrict features temporarily.

LikeFolk uses location data to help users connect with nearby people. You always remain in control of how this feature works.

• When posting a Flash Story or Flash Note, you choose the reach: Very Close (2 km), Nearby (2–10 km), or City-Wide (10–100 km).
• We do not share exact coordinates publicly - only your chosen proximity tier - unless you turn on Public Location as a business or vendor.
• Use "Friends Only" mode to limit who sees your updates.

LikeFolk's core experience is free.

Pay-Per-Reach Features

• Flash Story - a 24-hour story with Very Close, Nearby, or City-Wide reach.
• Flash Note - an instant push notification with the same reach choices.

Each purchase is one-time. LikeFolk has no recurring subscription. Pricing is shown in-app before purchase and may vary by region.

Payments are handled securely via Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or other approved gateways. We don't store your payment information directly.

Every user shapes the emotional tone of LikeFolk. You agree to:

• React mindfully
• Respect others' boundaries and privacy
• Report inappropriate content instead of engaging with it
• Not use reactions to mock, target, or embarrass others

Share thoughtfully - even with private settings, screenshots or copies can exist.

If you feel unsafe or encounter harmful content, use the in-app Report option or contact us directly. Our team will review and respond promptly.

We may work with law enforcement in cases involving threats, exploitation, or criminal activity. LikeFolk cannot control every action of every user.

You can delete your account at any time in the app's settings.

When deleted:

• Your posts will be removed from public view.
• Cached or backup data may persist briefly for technical, legal, or security purposes.

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms, remain inactive for extended periods, or pose a safety or legal risk.

The LikeFolk name, logo, design, layout, and all associated intellectual property belong to LikeFolk. You may not use our branding without written consent.

Feedback, suggestions, or ideas you share may be used by us freely - we always appreciate your input.

LikeFolk is provided "as is" and "as available." We strive to maintain a reliable, safe platform, but:

• We don't guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free performance.
• We can't promise every user or piece of content will meet community expectations.
• We're not responsible for harm resulting from user interactions, data breaches, or service interruptions beyond our control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LikeFolk and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services.

We may update these Terms periodically. When we do, we'll update the "Effective Date" and notify users of major revisions. By continuing to use LikeFolk after updates, you agree to the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will first go through informal resolution and, if necessary, be handled by the competent courts of India.
